12/20/2024 - Faculty, staff, and students at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ make headlines every day. Here’s a round-up of recent accomplishments.

12/17/2024 - The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ is introducing a new reduced tuition model for its master’s degree programs in inclusive education, library media, literacy education, and educational leadership. The new tuition will be effective beginning summer 2025.

12/16/2024 - The Wegmans School of Nursing at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ received accreditation for its new Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia and Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

12/09/2024 - Next fall, the School of Arts and Sciences at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ will begin offering a major in neuroscience and behavior.

12/09/2024 - The Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ received $50,000 through the Special Olympics Health 2024 Systems Change in Inclusive Health Subgrant, funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The grant will fund the creation of professional development materials that will prepare advanced practice providers (APPs) to deliver quality care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

12/06/2024 - This summer, the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Athletics Department announced the arrival of Reid Lesswing as the head coach of the men’s ice hockey program and Scott McDonald as the head coach of the women’s ice hockey program.

12/05/2024 - Five ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students have earned $1,700 in Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) Research Grants to support their independent academic research.

12/04/2024 - ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ will kick off the spring 2025 semester with the third annual Spirit of Identity Week.

12/04/2024 - ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½’s Office of Student Engagement and Leadership will be hosting Stress Less Week. Running from Wednesday, Dec. 4 through Tuesday, Dec. 10, activities aim to provide relief and relaxation to students as they prepare for their final exams.

12/03/2024 - Dr. Kris H. Green, professor of mathematics and physics, will explore the intersection of mathematics and climate modeling during the December First Friday Lecture.
